PAG PM: James Tokishi

The Pima Association of Governments (PAG) collects and archive traffic counts to support for the federal highway performance monitoring system (HPMS) and PAG’s modeling efforts including model calibration and validation and other comparison reports. Under the proposed project, the university team at the Center for Applied Transportation Sciences (CATS), the University of Arizona, will support PAG by: (i) reviewing the archived data for the duration of the project, and (ii) develop R scripts for generating various multimodal transportation performance measurements and visualizations to support PAG activity-based model (ABM), dynamic traffic assignment (DTA) and air quality modeling as well as traffic data support to PAG jurisdictions.
